International Children’s Digital Library is a collection of stories from all over the world, in English and over 50 languages. No account needed to read the books online, but students can join for free to bookmark their favourite stories.
Scholastic Learn at Home has two areas with free online non-fiction books.
TrueFlix and ScienceFlix provide short videos plus online ebooks on topics of interest. The books have a read-aloud function to support developing readers.
Wheelers ePlatform: ebooks and audiobooks for primary through to secondary students.

Britannica School: an online encyclopaedia for students. Excellent for the student who loves finding out about things.
