Provides a large range of primary materials covering America's history.
Trove
Maintained by the National Library of Australia, Trove is a good repository of Australian images, historic newspapers, maps and music. The Help Centre provides tips for searching for content.
National Archives of Australia
Provides access to digitised photos and documents. If you need help to get started, the NAA offers a variety of resources and information to help with your research. Use PhotoSearch to locate images on a topic, using the tool provided to narrow your search to a particular historical period.
